National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is a club that focuses on service to the community. Members of the NHS participate in numerous individual service projects as well as two required community service projects that we complete as a group. There is a major NHS at International Community School in Kirkland, WA. Over the past few years, the NHS has expanded to take on volunteer projects at schools themselves like the Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly, a Drop-In Tutor Program and Charity Movie Nights. This year, they hope to continue building upon NHS’ existing role to help strengthen their community and nurture their leaders. The program is designed to honor student's achievements in academic and leadership fields.
