Kirkland American Little League
Kirkland American Little League is based in Kirkland, WA, in the Lake Washington area. Theleague has both baseball and softball programs for boys and girls ages 5 to 18. Anyone can play, with experience or not. Kirkland American Little League was founded in 1959 and has grown incredibly since, its total enrollment currently being around 700 players. The objective of the League shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. Baseball is a sport that teaches many things, and Kirkland American is a perfect league for achieving that.

Kirkland National Little League
Established in 1983. Kirkland National features baseball and softball programs for boys and girls ages 5-12. It is the opposite league for youth baseball in the city of Kirkland, and the two teams have great competition. The objective of the National little League is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. This is the exact same as Kirkland American, as they both are affiliated with the larger little league organization of the United States. They are extremely famous for winning the entire little league world series in the United States when they did so in 1982 against a team from Taiwan.
